AYC's MISSION STATEMENT

  The Abbey Yacht Club is a not-for-profit corporation, incorporated in the state of Wisconsin in 1965. It is located at the Abbey Marina, Fontana, Wisconsin, on scenic Lake Geneva. Its purpose is to enhance the social environment of its members at the marina and, as such, is primarily a social club.

  It is also the primary interface between the membership and the Abbey management. The Abbey Yacht Club seeks, AND DEPENDS UPON, active participation from its membership for the management, direction, and fulfillment of its primary activities.

  The Abbey Yacht Club membership requirements include boat ownership in the Abbey Marina, election to membership in the club by the board of directors, and payment of annual dues. These dues are due when membership is accepted and at the beginning of each calendar year, as determined by the club's by-laws.
